List up strong-motion data matches to your specification
1. Select data type
select to List of data and the (K-NET only, K-NET & KiK-net, KiK-net only three).
2. Specify query terms
Check the boxes of your query type. For example, if you want to search for strong-motion data observed in the Ibaraki prefecture between November 1999 and January 2000, check both and .
3. Input query terms
For example above, you should input parameters as shown below.
Use "insert" menu without typing the prefecture name. Unchecked query types will be ignored even if you had input parameters.
4. Search for strong-motion data
Click to perform the search. Result of the query will be shown in the Data list.
5. Choose strong-motion data
If you click an item listed in the Data list, the earthquake information for the data will be shown below the Data list. Also you can see thumbnail wave image of the data. Now you are ready to download the data.
6. Download strong-motion data of all channels
Click to download channels 1-3 of data compressed into a single tar.gz archive. The archive file may be large so, if you do not want all channels of the data, choose channels by the steps shown below.
7. Download all strong-motion data of the earthquake event
Click to download all strong-motion data of the earthquake event shown as earthquake information. The data files are compressed into a single tar.gz archive. The archive file may be large so, if you do not want all of data, choose your data by steps shown above.
8. Other information
* Site Information
If you want to know the code of an specific site, please click Site Information button.
* Input multiple site codes in query terms box
You can specify multiple site codes as a query term by comma-delimiting. Please input full 6 characters of site code.
* Sort the list
If you click anchors on the listbox, the list will be sorted by a specific key in ascending order. If you click the anchor again, the list will be sorted in descending order.
* Change thumbnail image
If you wish to change the thumbnail image, use the pull-down menu below the thumbnail image.
* Enlarge thumbnail image
If you click on the thumbnail image, the image will be shown in 100% size on the new window. On the new window click PostScript File Download to download PostScript file of the image.
* Resize the window
Resizing the Netscape Navigator window may cause an error of search parameters. In this case, retry the search.
* About the format of the download file
